Aafa Michael Weaver Wins Pushcart
Aafa Michael Weaver has been awarded the The Pushcart Prize for his poem in Ibbetson Street #32. Ibbetson Street is a first tier national poetry journal founded by poet and publisher Doug Holder & others.The poem is entitled, Blues in Five/Four, The Violence in Chicago. Weaver was nominated by poetry editor Harris Gardner. Congratulations to Weaver, Holder, and Gardner.
