Saturday morning at the Au Bon Pain in Davis Square Somerville with the "Bards." That's me-- the ham-fisted, jowly one strangling a cup of strong coffee. Krikor, the nattily dressed guy next to me, is probably admonishing me for one of my Neanderthal views. Bert, who is on the other side of the table, has just warned me that I have become much too loud while speaking to Steve, who, like myself, is hard of hearing. Bridget, sitting across from me, sketched this revealing portrait during the conversation. She entitled it "a piece of the morning."
